Say how well you knew each word.

How word practice works

  1. Save a word

Tap a Swedish word in a video or a lesson to hear it and see what it means, then save it.

  2. Review it when it's due

Saved words come back for review when it's time. Say how well you knew each one, and Skrol decides when to show it again.

  3. Play with it

Quick games test the same words in different ways: matching, memory, listening and speed.

Four buttons, one honest answer

After each flashcard you say how well you knew the word. Your answer decides when you see it next.

Button When to press it
Didn't know You didn't know the word. It comes back soon.
Hard You got it, but it took effort.
Good You knew it.
Easy You knew it at once. It can wait longer before it comes back.

Four games for your words

Each game uses your own words, so the practice is always about Swedish you have actually met.

Quick Match

Race against time! Match words to definitions as fast as you can.

Memory Flip

Flip cards to find matching word–definition pairs.

Listen & Choose

Hear a word and pick what it means — trains your ear for real conversations.

Speed Challenge

Answer as many as you can before the clock runs out!

Why reviews beat word lists

Reading a long word list once feels productive, but most of it is gone a week later. Seeing a word again just as you are starting to forget it is what moves it into long-term memory.

That is why Skrol brings each word back on its own schedule, and why the words come from the videos and lessons you actually use: you learn them in context, then keep them.

Questions and answers

Where do my words come from?

From the videos and lessons you use: tap a Swedish word to see what it means, and save it with one tap. Words you struggled with in an AI conversation can be added too.

When does a word come back?

When it is due for review. A word you didn't know comes back soon; a word you knew easily can wait longer. Your answer on each flashcard decides it.

Can I hear how a word is pronounced?

Yes. Every word can be played aloud, on the flashcards and when you tap it in a video or a lesson.

What if I haven't saved any words yet?

Word practice suggests words to start with, so there is always something to practise.
