Tillsvidareanställning is the permanent job: until further notice. A vikariat ends on a date; a provanställning is a trial, usually six months.

  • Jag är medlem i en fackförening.I am a member of a trade union.

Söka jobb is look for a job; söka ett jobb is apply for one. De söker en kock means the company is looking for a cook.
